Join this briefing designed specifically for California Home Care Organization owners and administrators.
California is strengthening expectations for caregiver training in response to the growing number of clients living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Beginning in 2027, dementia-related care must be included within the required annual training for Home Care Aides under California Health & Safety Code §1796.44.
This educational session is designed specifically for Home Care Organization owners, administrators, and designees who want to understand the new requirement and ensure their agencies remain compliant.
During this presentation, we will review the regulatory framework, explain what must be included in dementia caregiver training, and discuss how agencies can implement compliant training programs.
